The Knox County Public Library invites you to experience the history and architecture of Vincennes, Indiana's first continuously inhabited
European settlement. When you tour the streets of Vincennes look for sites related to the town's eighteenth century roots, its role as
Indiana's territorial capital in the early nineteenth century, and its expansion at the turn of the twentieth century built on rail commerce.
Need an ipod? The Knox County Public Library will provide one free of charge; we just require that you leave your driver's license or ID with the front desk.
