Ancient Rock Stars: Mythology
Outreach Building
10 a.m.

We’ll discuss “Ancient Rock Stars” at 10:00 a.m. Join Storyteller Lillian Klipsch as she shares stories of Greek and Roman heroic and fanciful figures, some of whom were immortalized in the constellations of the stars. Modern authors often allude to these classical characters and stories in their own works with the expectation that readers will understand the references.  Klipsch will focus on some of the most famous allusions and show how they are used today.  The program is free and open to the public; tea and crumpets will be served. The program will be held at 509 N. 7th Street in the Bloebaum-Fuller Outreach Building. Parking is available in the back of the building; please enter through the back door.
